I launched this blog in 2017, calling it 'The Hive.' Since then, it's undergone serious renovation, paralleling my personal evolution. Now, it's finally taken what I hope is its final form: Carte Blanche is my platform for sharing political and non-political opinions alike, and a nesting grounds for all my creative endeavors.
Just a bit on my own background: I currently work in marketing and communications for Humentum, the leading global nonprofit helping humanitarian and development organizations improve how they operate and to make the community more equitable, accountable, and resilient. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in combined communication studies and political science from the College of Wooster, and plan to graduate from American University in 2023 with a master's degree in — you guessed it — political communication.
I'd like to invite you on this journey with me; please feel free to walk back into the archives of my mind, reading, analyzing, leaving comments. Or, if you're so inclined, reach out to me about adding your own voice to the blog — I'm always looking for new contributors.
Because Carte Blanche is, at the end of the day, a personal project, it's not ubiquitous. If you want to contact me, just shoot me an email or find me on social media.
